Director, Community Navigator – Immunoglobulins (Ig) Therapies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a guide for Immunoglobulin patients and their caregivers throughout the Eastern U.S. region.

• Offer compliant education and navigation resources regarding the disease landscape, treatment preparation, treatment expectations, and available support resources.

• Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison to both internal and external resources.

• Compliantly triage patients to relevant reimbursement support resources without managing reimbursement cases.

• Support patients in navigating diagnosis, beginning treatment, ongoing therapy, and local support systems.

• Collaborate with the IG Advocacy Lead, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies Account Directors, FAS, Sales, Field Medical, and other cross-functional partners.

• Provide education and guidance via phone calls, emails, texts, virtual interactions, and in-person meetings.

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to identify patient needs and goals, and customize engagement over time.

• Distribute educational materials regarding CIDP and its treatments.

• Connect patients and caregivers with local health and wellness resources and organizations.

• Participate in and present approved educational content at Pfizer-sponsored patient advocacy group events and other local, regional, and national gatherings.

• Deliver an overview of the Community Navigator role and the support resources available from Pfizer.

• Provide educational content and resources to local support groups.

• Operate within compliance guidelines and manage triage and escalation pathways.

• Share aggregated local insights to guide the development of patient engagement and support materials.

• Organize travel arrangements and order materials for events.

• Strive toward measurable objectives for patient engagement, education delivery, and program impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field is required.

• Experience in rare autoimmune diseases is preferred.

• Proven exceptional communication and listening skills.

• Experience as a platform-trained speaker.

• Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly regulated setting and adhere to stringent compliance guidelines and procedures.

• Proven track record of collaboration with a diverse range of customers, clients, and stakeholders.

• Experience in responsible business practices and compassionate written and verbal communication.

• Familiarity with Pfizer and industry compliance guidelines for collaboration with Medical, Access, and Reimbursement teams.

• Capability to deliver meaningful and concise presentations with integrity and empathy.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel at least 50%; events typically occur on weekends and evenings.

• A clinical background is highly preferred, such as RN, APRN, NP, ARNP, ACSW, LCSW, or MPH.

• Extensive knowledge of rare autoimmune diseases, including CIDP, PI, and DM, along with their associated communities.

• Must reside within the Eastern U.S. territory.

• Proficiency with CRM tools, particularly POLARIS CRM.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available at this time or in the future.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
