This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative data collection initiatives, including surveys, interview guides, focus groups, databases, and various research instruments.

• Gather, organize, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from interviews, focus groups, surveys, document reviews, and additional sources.

• Conduct interviews and focus groups independently, both virtually and in person, depending on project complexity and client requirements.

• Perform literature reviews and background research.

• Generate findings and insights through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

• Provide technical assistance, training, and capacity-building support to clients and partners.

• Interpret and synthesize qualitative and quantitative results.

• Draft sections for reports, memos, proposals, and other client deliverables.

• Create presentations and technical documents tailored for various audiences.

• Develop charts, tables, infographics, and other visual aids.

• Assist in presenting and discussing findings with clients and project teams.

• Coordinate tasks and timelines across various projects.

• Collaborate across practice areas to ensure the delivery of high-quality client work.

• Engage in project meetings, contributing ideas, questions, and solutions.

• Maintain proactive communication with project teams regarding progress, inquiries, and emerging needs.

• Aid in proposal development by coordinating tasks, preparing materials, drafting sections, and producing submissions.

• Achieve an 85% utilization target on project-related responsibilities.

• Participate in approved professional development and internal practice-area initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, sociology, psychology, education, social work, or a related social science discipline.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in research, evaluation, consulting, community engagement, capacity building, or a similar field.

• Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

• Experience in collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data.

• Background in conducting interviews, focus groups, surveys, or other qualitative and quantitative research activities.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to customize information for diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, R, NVivo, Dedoose, or similar tools.

• Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a dynamic, collaborative consulting environment.

• Capable of working independently while proactively communicating updates, inquiries, and arising needs.

• Inquisitive, adaptable, and eager to learn.

• Committed to delivering high-quality work and continuously enhancing skills.

• Dedicated to promoting healthy, just, and equitable communities.

• Interest in leveraging research, evaluation, and community engagement to assist clients in tackling complex challenges.

• Must reside within the fifty United States or Washington, DC.

• Must provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States.

• Must be willing and able to travel as necessary for client meetings, project activities, or community engagement.
