This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +4 more states.
• Develop a sustainable business foundation that surpasses revenue and order intake goals for designated accounts and territories.
• Propel growth in the mid-market sector by taking full ownership of the sales lifecycle and converting the pipeline.
• Spearhead new business development within the banking sector, which includes banks and credit unions.
• Generate new leads, qualify them, cultivate opportunities, create value, present solutions, and successfully close new deals.
• Sustain and expand business relationships while also seeking new opportunities.
• Conduct significant outbound calls to prospects and clients to drive larger deals and identify new opportunities.
• Generate, achieve, and uphold additional revenue by promoting and selling GGS products and services.
• Utilize CRM software to log sales activities, manage the pipeline, and support the closure of key opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across client organizations.
• Leverage internal resources to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and payment processing.
• Timely process sales order documentation.
• Quickly resolve customer conflicts.
• Travel within the specified geographic area as necessary.
• Attend trade shows and internal sales meetings as required.
• Employ a consultative or solutions-oriented selling approach.
• Report directly to the RVP, Financial Markets.
• BA or BS degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of solution-based sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in sales for non-commoditized solutions is essential.
• Sales experience within the banking industry is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging decision-makers to achieve sales results.
• Highly organized, motivated, and capable of following a structured sales process while developing and executing a sales plan.
• Ability to employ a solution-based selling strategy with senior-level executives.
• Strong skills in account management, closing deals, and win-win negotiations.
• Excellent business writing and communication abilities.
• Proficient in creating, modifying, and delivering PowerPoint presentations at all organizational levels.
• Competent in effectively using Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Experience in designing and negotiating sales proposals that involve pricing calculations to achieve gross profit targets.
• Actively seek to develop sales leads.
• Utilize standard discovery questions to qualify prospects.
• Deliver persuasive presentations.
• Dedicate extra effort to ensure success.
• Advocate for customers to drive results.
• Adapt sales strategies to align with buyer motivations.
• The ideal candidate should reside in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, and be located within 60 minutes of a major airport.
• Commission at Target: $120K.
• Bonus at Target: $80K.
