Director, Coding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight for coding operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Monitor and enhance coding KPIs, focusing on quality, turnaround time, and audit performance.

• Lead coding managers and teams, facilitating performance management, development, and engagement.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Revenue Integrity, and Clinical teams to ensure compliance with coding standards and regulatory obligations.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver real-time insights into coding performance, productivity, and trends.

• Utilize Copilot and Power Platform tools (such as Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.) to optimize workflows and automate reporting processes.

• Analyze denial trends, audit results, and coding performance to pinpoint root causes and opportunities for improvement.

• Act as a key liaison among Coding, IT, Analytics, Operations, and Client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare coding and revenue cycle management.

• More than 3 years of leadership experience managing coding teams.

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding methodologies.

• Proven experience in creating Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.
