This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
β’ Oversee global coding operations involving both onshore and offshore teams.
β’ Manage coding performance metrics, including accuracy, productivity, DNFB, and turnaround times.
β’ Lead initiatives focused on reducing denials and optimizing revenue associated with coding.
β’ Supervise coding audits, quality assurance, and compliance programs.
β’ Standardize coding policies, workflows, and governance across various markets.
β’ Collaborate with RCM, clinical, and compliance teams to enhance documentation integrity.
β’ Leverage reporting and analytics to pinpoint trends and performance deficiencies.
β’ Support technology, automation, and system optimization initiatives.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
β’ A minimum of 8 years in coding or revenue cycle operations is required.
β’ At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-site or global teams.
β’ Proficiency in inpatient, outpatient, and/or professional coding is essential.
β’ In-depth understanding of coding compliance and regulatory standards is needed.
β’ Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or equivalent are mandatory.
β’ Experience in managing offshore or global teams is preferred.
β’ Background in multi-client or healthcare services environments is beneficial.
β’ Familiarity with coding transformation, automation, or integrations is advantageous.
β’ Strong communication skills and capabilities in stakeholder management at an executive level are essential.
