Director, Clinical Programs – IKC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of patient experience and activation strategies for DaVita IKC and DaVita Kidney Care.

• Manage a dedicated team of 6-8 members, including analysts and senior managers.

• Act as a reliable thought partner to senior leaders, shaping enterprise priorities regarding clinical program design and patient engagement.

• Develop and manage a patient experience initiative that ensures excellent interactions, effective follow-through, and service recovery.

• Provide care teams with the necessary communication and engagement skills.

• Create systems to pinpoint service deficiencies and swiftly address them using patient feedback and real-time survey data.

• Implement strategies that empower patients throughout their clinical journey, particularly during early dialysis experiences.

• Train and guide frontline care teams to connect with patients empathetically, listen attentively, and collaboratively develop care plans.

• Transform patient journeys during critical care moments.

• Reassess information prioritization and sequencing to enhance patient adoption.

• Utilize patient segmentation to tailor education and engagement strategies to patient readiness.

• Establish structure and carry out long-term clinical program visions.

• Leverage data and feedback for rapid iteration and continuous improvement.

• Lead cross-functional teams through large-scale transformational change.

• Benchmark industry best practices and emerging trends in patient experience and activation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of advanced experience in clinical program management, healthcare operations, population health, or a related discipline.

• Preferably experienced in working with complex, chronic, or high-acuity patient populations.

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

• Proven success in managing and developing Managers and Directors.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is highly desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of patient education, behavior change, and engagement strategies.

• Capacity to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate workload and growth opportunities.

• Ability to balance strategic vision with execution capabilities.

• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

• Exceptional conceptual, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.

• Strong business and financial insight with a sense of responsibility towards shareholders.

• Excellent executive-level communication skills.

• Capable of managing and driving multiple projects across various teams.

• Eagerness to grasp the complexities of healthcare markets.
