This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the technical strategy for the FSP Enablement Team.
• Lead and manage business operations, ensuring the Trusted Process methodology, project management standards, and SOPs are effectively optimized and consistently applied.
• Guarantee that internal and customer quality standards, GCP, and ICH guidelines are met.
• Provide strategic and operational planning.
• Foster continuous process improvement throughout the organization.
• Direct and lead Syneos Health, including supervising senior management roles within the designated business unit and region.
• Engage in both short- and long-term planning for departmental operations and growth.
• Guide forecasting, planning, and logistics for clinical operations activities.
• Assess performance and propose quality and efficiency enhancements.
• Lead or supervise assigned business and strategic improvement projects.
• Manage employees through professional development, performance evaluations, counseling, goal-setting, and delegation.
• Assist in regional staff planning and talent acquisition in the designated country.
• Serve as a liaison between operations departments and clinical business units.
• Enhance project management processes and lead subject matter experts in creating and reviewing SOPs and work instructions.
• Support enterprise-wide project management systems and tools.
• Evaluate project progress and disseminate resource status reports and functional area plans.
• Develop, gather, and analyze project metrics.
• Oversee project reviews focusing on budget, schedule, and risk analysis.
• Lead global project management systems and processes and manage resource allocation planning.
• Handle departmental human resources and administrative issues.
• Interview candidates and assist in professional meetings or seminars.
• Establish and maintain training materials.
• Contribute to long-term IT and enterprise planning.
• Carry out other assigned work-related responsibilities.
• BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Management experience, ideally in a global clinical research, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology organization.
• Proven management skills and experience, including short- and long-term planning, staff assessment, motivating personnel, marketing, and financial oversight.
• A solid clinical research background is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of ICH GCP and general regulatory authority requirements, drug development, and clinical project management procedures.
• Ability to engage with diverse interests and effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of individuals to achieve common objectives.
• Strong leadership capabilities, as well as tactical and strategic thinking skills.
• Capacity to foresee and address critical issues while proactively developing contingency plans.
• Familiarity with financial concepts related to forecasting, budgeting, and proposal development.
• Ability to self-manage tasks and establish direction and priorities for others.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred technological expertise with PowerApps, PowerBI, SharePoint, Oracle, Copilot agent building, financial reviews, dashboards, and enterprise-level technology.
• Experience in a matrix team environment is preferred.
• Membership and/or affiliations with relevant professional organizations are highly desirable.
• Some travel may be necessary, up to 25%.
