Director, Client Coding Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Managing the coding integration strategy, operational activities, and performance within a vast, intricate academic health system.

• Ensuring a cohesive connection between coding operations, clinical documentation, and the overall performance of the enterprise revenue cycle.

• Crafting and implementing a comprehensive coding integration strategy for inpatient, outpatient, and professional services.

• Guaranteeing the alignment of coding workflows, processes, and systems across various facilities and care environments.

• Standardizing policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance consistency and efficiency throughout the organization.

• Monitoring and refining coding KPIs, including quality, productivity, turnaround times, and financial implications.

• Analyzing patterns in denials, audits, and coding results to uncover areas for enhancement.

• Acting as the primary point of escalation for intricate coding or client-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare coding, revenue cycle management, or health information management (HIM).

• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in complex, multi-site settings.

• Extensive knowledge in inpatient, outpatient, and/or professional coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).

• Experience in supporting academic medical centers or large teaching hospitals.

• A proven history of managing high-volume operations and overseeing large, distributed teams.

• Strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder management abilities.
