Capture Manager – HHS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Manage and support the complete lifecycle of capture activities for designated opportunities.

• Implement capture strategies for pre-qualified pursuits, ensuring they align with the win strategy and customer priorities.

• Perform customer research, analyze opportunities, and assess competitors to enhance positioning.

• Organize internal gate reviews and guarantee that capture artifacts are thorough and actionable.

• Work in collaboration with solution, pricing, and proposal teams to develop compliant and persuasive responses.

• Assist in the teaming strategy, partner coordination, and engagement with subcontractors.

• Aid in the development of pricing inputs, win themes, and value propositions.

• Keep meticulous documentation and reporting throughout the capture lifecycle.

• Participate in various projects and initiatives as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a collaborative approach.

• Contribute to team goals and assume additional responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of relevant capture management or federal capture support experience.

• Proven experience managing federal accounts or spearheading business development within HHS, NIH, CMS, CDC, FDA, or comparable healthcare-focused agencies.

• Understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, including IDIQs, GWACs, and task order competitions.

• Experience in participating in capture gate reviews and color team processes.

• Familiarity with federal health IT areas such as application modernization, cloud migration, data analytics, or interoperability.

• Strong skills in organization, analysis, and written communication.

• Proficient in Salesforce (or a similar CRM), GovWin, SAM.gov, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Shipley or APMP certification is advantageous.

• Capability to obtain a government clearance.
