This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Spearhead and enhance the CFA Institute’s enterprise Business Process Improvement capabilities.
• Develop and refine frameworks, methodologies, governance, and tools for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing opportunities for process improvement.
• Conduct current-state analyses and design target states.
• Execute and oversee process improvement initiatives that yield measurable enhancements in efficiency, quality, and organizational performance.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to showcase improvements and their impact on the business.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals focused on process improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units, technology, finance, and program management.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to business teams regarding process-related challenges.
• Spot opportunities to leverage automation, data, technology, and emerging tools to enhance processes and operational effectiveness.
• Foster a deeper understanding of process improvement and continuous enhancement throughout the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in leading significant business process improvement, operational excellence, or process transformation initiatives with measurable results.
• Proven track record in building, establishing, or significantly scaling a business process improvement capability, framework, or operating model.
• In-depth practical knowledge of process improvement methodologies and frameworks, including Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, or BPM.
• Evidence of successfully analyzing complex processes, identifying root causes, and leading process redesign or optimization efforts.
• Experience in leading and developing teams, with the ability to enhance capabilities within a specialized team.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and experience collaborating across various business areas within a complex organization.
• A collaborative and consultative mindset, with the ability to constructively challenge, listen attentively, and assist stakeholders in identifying their needs.
• Capability to merge strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience utilizing data and metrics to assess process performance and improvement outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with technology teams on automation, digital enablement, or technology-assisted process improvement.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
