Director, Business Operations – New Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the partnerships pipeline for Jerry's new product offerings.

• Oversee partnerships from initial outreach to signed agreements and successful onboarding.

• Independently lead discussions with insurance carriers and partners.

• Assess partner compatibility and comprehend their needs.

• Formulate value propositions and innovative deal structures.

• Manage the partnership process until closure.

• Ensure partner success post-closing, facilitating their engagement and fostering long-term relationships.

• Provide partner insights to inform vertical strategies and product development decisions.

• Collaborate across various functions including product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive leadership.

• Report directly to the Vice President of Partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting.

• Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-stakeholder agreements.

• Experience in building from the ground up, such as launching a new partnership category, entering a new market, or establishing a business development function without a pre-existing model.

• A background that combines at least two of the following: consulting or structured problem-solving, business development or sales execution, and early-stage startup operational experience.

• Capacity to engage with senior external stakeholders and navigate large partner organizations autonomously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must currently reside in an eligible hiring location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
