This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and lead a sales and business development team to achieve or surpass SLTT revenue goals.
• Transform strategy into actionable initiatives, budgets, and quarterly objectives.
• Manage pipeline governance, which includes CRM data, forecasting, and stage-gate evaluations.
• Assist in Go/No-Go decisions for Capture and RFX initiatives.
• Collaborate with Capture and Proposals teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Create win themes and pricing strategies for emergency management, CDBG-DR, and related programs.
• Formulate and execute revenue strategies that align with the company’s goals.
• Partner with Marketing and Operations to drive lead-generation and customer-acquisition campaigns.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention while expanding services for existing clients.
• Work alongside Operations, market leads, and practice leads to ensure offerings meet market demand.
• Monitor revenue streams, budgets, and overall financial performance.
• Provide monthly reports to leadership and the board.
• Conduct market research to discover opportunities, competitive challenges, and industry trends.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain talented individuals.
• Build relationships with partner firms and subcontractors.
• Travel for client engagements, conferences, and key events.
• Complete necessary compliance and safety training.
• Establish and adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Strategic thinker with an executive presence.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven track record in business development with measurable annual revenue growth.
• Familiarity with Emergency Management, CDBG-DR, and government grant programs, including price-to-win strategies.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and pipeline management.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Skills in market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% on short notice.
• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Public Administration, or Business Management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in sales leadership or business development, particularly in SLTT markets and intricate deals.
• Experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, technology, or infrastructure is preferred.
• Completion of annual compliance and safety training.
