Director, Business Development – State Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture connections with state education leaders and key stakeholders

• Execute engagement and procurement strategies at the state level

• Work in conjunction with Programs and Business Development teams to ensure CAI’s solutions align with state priorities

• Foster trustworthy relationships to facilitate the implementation and success of assessment programs

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in educational business development, government relations, or within state education agencies

• Demonstrated success in influencing state-level education procurement

• Established connections with state education agencies and national education organizations

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree or JD is highly preferred

• Willingness to travel 25–50%
