Director, Business Development – SLTT

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Build and manage an effective sales and business development team to achieve or surpass SLTT revenue goals; convert strategy into practical plans, budgets, and quarterly objectives.

β€’ Take ownership of pipeline governance: ensure precise CRM data management (leads, opportunities, forecasts), and facilitate disciplined stage-gate reviews to enhance win rates.

β€’ Assist Operations and Sales in making Go/No-Go decisions for Capture and RFX activities; support capture/proposal efforts to align with win themes and customer value propositions.

β€’ Create and implement all-encompassing revenue strategies that are in line with the company's broader business objectives.

β€’ Work in collaboration with the marketing and operations teams to design and execute marketing campaigns that foster lead generation and customer acquisition.

β€’ Partner with the Capture and Proposals team to ensure seamless coordination throughout the entire lifecycle of an opportunity.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Public Administration, or Business Management is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

β€’ 8–12 years of experience in sales leadership or business development, with a proven history in SLTT markets and complex deals; experience related to disaster recovery, emergency management, technology, or infrastructure is preferred.

β€’ Demonstrated success in business development, resulting in quantifiable year-over-year revenue growth.

β€’ Required knowledge of Emergency Management, CDBG-DR, and other government grant programs, including price-to-win strategies.

β€’ Proficient in CRM platforms for pipeline management; capable of translating data into actionable insights.

β€’ Solid financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
