This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to shape the overall commercial strategy for the designated territory.
• Maintain a strong presence in the territory, dedicating approximately 40-50% of time to client interactions.
• Concentrate on acquiring new clients by identifying fresh business opportunities within biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
• Oversee the complete sales pipeline, which includes prospecting within the territory, follow-ups, client meetings, proposals, and contract negotiations leading to closure.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales objectives and quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
• Conduct capability presentations, introductory calls and meetings, as well as needs-assessment sessions.
• Manage selected accounts to foster repeat business and uncover cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
• Stay informed about trends in the CRO industry, competitive dynamics, regulatory changes, and client R&D focuses.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a CRO, CDMO, biotech service provider, or pre-clinical research setting.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Comprehensive understanding of the discovery and pre-clinical development processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently (40%+).
