This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identifies opportunities for Biospecimen products and services, particularly focusing on biofluids, prospective collections, tissues, cells, and other specialty and central lab service offerings.
• Develops and sustains relationships along with an organizational map for assigned and newly identified Key Clients.
• Retains and expands the existing account base by discovering new opportunities and exploring potential cross-selling across the Precision Translational Sciences portfolio.
• Follows up on all marketing leads and website inquiries to assess their viability.
• Conducts prospecting for new clients as needed within the designated geographic market to maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Identifies prospective clients and decision-makers within their organizations, performs needs analysis, recognizes opportunities, and follows up with potential customers.
• Ensures that any client complaints are directed to the appropriate individuals and resolved promptly and professionally.
• Closes new business deals and enhances existing business relationships.
• Connects Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other Business Developers (BDs) where additional value can be provided to clients.
• Establishes a solid working relationship with marketing, clinical operations, lab operations, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
• Qualifies and enhances inbound leads.
• Successfully closes business deals and develops future recurring business opportunities.
• Attends conferences, trade shows, and meetings as required.
• Maintains accurate customer relationship management metrics in Salesforce.com and other CRM systems.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in the Life Science or Healthcare industry OR 3+ years of Laboratory Research, Service, Clinical Operations, or customer support experience in the Life Science sector.
• A team player who is willing to collaborate and share knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and create plans to achieve personal goals.
• Capacity to think creatively and strategically while acting tactically in a dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong command of basic Life Science terminology and its applications.
• Must be self-directed and motivated to work at a highly technical level.
• Willingness to travel within the territory up to 35% of the time.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license allowing operation of a vehicle in the states you drive in.
• Able to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking fluently, and comprehending the English language.
