This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing revenue across U.S. Government accounts, particularly within defense and intelligence sectors.
• Develop and implement strategic business development campaigns.
• Oversee all stages of the capture lifecycle, including customer engagement, win strategy formulation, team agreements, solution development, proposal management, and post-award implementation.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to produce unique, competitive, and compliant proposals.
• Offer strategic guidance during the annual strategic and operational planning processes.
• Manage and grow company revenues within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
• Cultivate relationships with technical and procurement stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities via BAAs, SBIRs, OTAs, and larger contracting mechanisms.
• Position company technologies as scalable solutions for military and intelligence communication initiatives.
• Work in tandem with Sales Engineering, program teams, and executive leadership on strategic proposals and technical engagements.
• Enhance and scale the government-focused business development function, encompassing revenue, teams, and strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (BA/BS required).
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven track record of success in selling to U.S. Government agencies, particularly the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Space Force, and Air Force.
• Extensive experience managing strategic capture efforts and lengthy sales cycles.
• In-depth understanding of government acquisition processes, including BAAs, OTAs, and SBIRs.
• Consistent history of securing large-scale contracts exceeding $25M for government-funded projects.
• Experience in selling hardware, software, or integrated systems for defense or space missions.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with technical staff, leadership, and procurement decision-makers.
• Preferred: 5 years of program management, project management, or related operational leadership experience.
