• Develop and implement a territory strategy aimed at achieving annual revenue goals for AFS services.
• Establish new client relationships while also expanding and enhancing current accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
• Engage in scientific discovery discussions to comprehend client needs and align AFS solutions accordingly.
• Facilitate client meetings, capability presentations, and site visits both virtually and in person.
• Lead the proposal development process in partnership with internal teams, ensuring that scopes are both tailored and compelling.
• Maintain precise pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking within CRM systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, program management, and integrated BD teams to promote client success and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Guide the alignment and negotiation of service agreements between clients and KBI's cross-functional teams (commercial, legal, finance, and operations).
• Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events, actively pursuing meetings with clients and prospects during these occasions.
• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in biopharma services, with a strong preference for sales related to analytical, formulation, or CMC services.
• Must reside within the designated region.
• Proven ability to manage intricate sales cycles and attain revenue objectives.
• Strong scientific knowledge with the capability to engage technical stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (approximately 50–60%).
