This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement the business development strategy and growth initiatives (including go-to-market strategy, identification of emerging trends and expansion opportunities, partnership cultivation, and contract management).
• Lead the creation of deal structures and conduct risk assessments across various value-based care models, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and sustain high-level relationships with industry stakeholders and key partners while facilitating the development of strategic partnership opportunities, working closely with the SVP of Business Development and the CCO from initial outreach through to contract finalization.
• Oversee and develop the Business Development Operations Manager, offering strategic guidance on pipeline reporting, deal infrastructure, documentation governance, and team operational cadence; Collaborate to enhance BD infrastructure, including CRM systems, reporting tools, and market intelligence resources.
• Cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge of state Medicaid programs, RFP timelines, and policy developments affecting children with medical complexities or special healthcare needs.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional stakeholders across business development and implementation, such as finance, legal, and clinical teams, as deals transition from discovery to execution.
• Facilitate internal executive alignment on activities such as board presentations, executive leadership team updates, or other reports that promote transparency and comprehension of key opportunities, initiatives, and subsequent steps to support Imagine’s growth.
• Serve as a representative for Imagine Pediatrics at industry conferences, among health plan executives, and during state-level engagements, acting as a senior spokesperson for our mission and operational model.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in business or a related field is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare, including roles within health plans, medical groups, providers, or healthcare delivery organizations.
• Significant expertise in value-based care programs and Medicaid managed care markets.
• A proven history of independently initiating and finalizing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships or agreements.
• Prior experience in strategy roles within consulting, banking, or corporate strategy environments.
• Demonstrated capability to manage, mentor, and develop direct reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Exceptional listening, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.
• Proven success in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
