This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead the process from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation, and successful conclusion.
• Influence and nurture team members without having formal authority.
• Exhibit personal accountability in the sales process and prospects.
• Create a competitive edge by identifying and cultivating the right team.
• Oversee proposal development efforts in collaboration with the coordinator.
• Build a knowledge base to ensure compliance with proposals and guide the internal approval process (e.g., contract requirements).
• Research and analyze the goals and objectives of prospects/clients.
• Generate insights that offer opportunities to educate prospects/clients on innovative strategies to achieve their goals and objectives.
• Deliver client-focused presentations that address client objectives while fostering two-way dialogue.
• Showcase how ARAMARK’s capabilities align with identified needs and facilitate success.
• Secure collaborative support for tailored solutions.
• Cultivate results-oriented relationships with potential customers.
• Introduce relevant ARAMARK team members to enhance the sales process.
• Strategize regarding competitive landscape; accounts sales strategy, and territory development strategy.
• Formulate specific sales strategies for prospects, including goals, competitive positioning, client relations, and actions to advance sales opportunities.
• Align ARAMARK’s selling process with the prospects' purchasing process and maintain momentum to advance the sale.
• Assist in developing customer-specific solutions.
• Leverage regional and national resources to propel market leadership.
• Develop and implement tools and techniques for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively network using traditional and social media methods to build relationships within target accounts.
• Manage territory proactively by developing territory plans and building a pipeline of target accounts to meet current and future growth objectives.
• Conduct research to identify, qualify, and target market potential.
• Create access strategies to initiate contact.
• Provide relevant market and competitive information for corporate analysis.
• Utilize territory opportunities to achieve expected results.
• A minimum of 5 years of "high-end" strategic selling experience is required.
• Prior experience in hospitality services and/or operations is preferred; sales leadership experience is also advantageous.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Ability to think, plan, and sell strategically - possessing a consultative, customer-centric selling philosophy.
• Demonstrated capability to build alliances and influence key decision-makers, both internally and externally, without formal authority.
• Manage customer relationships through innovative problem-solving and customer awareness.
• Market awareness in a mature service industry - self-starter who requires minimal direct management.
• Prior experience in contract management services - operational acumen and savvy, including pro forma development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills (time/territory management).
• Polished and effective presentation skills.
• Team-oriented selling approach and leadership skills in a non-reporting environment - the ability to "close" the deal.
• 50% + travel, including overnight stays, is required.
• Compensation is a mix of a competitive salary plus commission.
