
Director, Brand Insights – Rare Metabolic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in fulfilling the customer and market information/insights requirements of the US Rare Disease Business Unit and Brand Teams.
• Oversee primary market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics related to the designated rare asset.
• Concentrate insights efforts on preparation for product launches and execution during launch phases.
• Act as both a contributor and mentor in crafting and implementing practical insights generation strategies.
• Shape business decisions, respond to patient and customer needs, and enhance brand performance within the US market.
• Create and manage the insight plan for the designated asset.
• Administer the associated budget and resources to ensure effective execution.
• Collaborate with the relevant asset brand team, Market Access Marketing, Field Enablement, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor the insights team to optimize their performance.
• Combine primary and secondary data into cohesive information and insights.
• Propel insights initiatives throughout both launch and ongoing phases in the United States.
• Robust analytical capabilities and expertise in generating insights.
• Proven track record of integrating primary and secondary data into cohesive information and insights.
• Strong leadership, budget management, and coaching abilities.
• Experience in launching and managing rare or nano rare diseases.
• Familiarity with secondary data sources, including prescription data, patient-level data, sales data, and payer data.
• Creative and innovative problem-solving skills to tackle complex business challenges and deliver actionable outcomes.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capacity to build internal relationships and navigate cultural standards effectively.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and influence decision-making processes.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in customer insights and analytics within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
• Experience in rare disease is essential.
• Proven track record of driving insights during both launch and ongoing phases in the United States.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
