Director, Application Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and implement a vision and roadmap for AI-native Application Security.

• Create the operating model for agentic AppSec, incorporating security copilots and policy-enforcing agents.

• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, shaping secure architectures.

• Build and guide a modern Application Security team focused on leveraging automation.

• Advance threat modeling to facilitate continuous, system-aware analysis.

• Integrate automated security reasoning into CI/CD and AI/ML pipelines.

• Lead adversarial testing specific to AI, including prompt injection, model misuse, and data leakage.

• Integrate security agents within IDEs, pull requests, and CI workflows.

• Provide in-context security guidance without hindering velocity.

• Utilize continuous risk scoring to inform release decisions.

• Manage the AppSec strategy for AI systems, models, prompts, and agents.

• Convert emerging AI risks into automated guardrails.

• Promote an ambient and automated security culture.

• Educate engineers on designing secure AI-native systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in AppSec, DevSecOps, or secure software development.

• Strong understanding of OWASP, cloud-native systems, and API security.

• Familiarity with AI/ML security vulnerabilities.
