📋 Description

• Develop innovative, thought-provoking content that delivers essential insights.

• Generate fresh ideas and insights through thought leadership, offering compelling and actionable solutions to client needs.

• Act as a primary authority on privacy and information governance subjects, including privacy strategy, GDPR, CCPA, DPIAs, data transfers, data mapping, subject rights requests, cookies, consent management, AI and privacy, biometrics, and consumer trust.

• Keep informed about external trends related to privacy, AI, and AI governance.

• Collaborate with colleagues and experts from Legal, IT, Finance, and other departments.

• Create content and insights focused on emerging topics in AI governance.

• Assess client obstacles and requirements to pinpoint root causes and advance strategy.

• Establish Insight positions across a team of analysts and contribute independent insights to Gartner leadership.

• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and shifts.

• Deliver actionable advice to clients and prospects through both virtual and in-person engagements.

• Develop and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.

• Support BTI and Sales by acting as the market voice and enhancing client engagement.

• Perform timely, high-quality peer reviews of content.

• Represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies as an industry authority.

• Engage in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration within the Insights community.

• Identify opportunities for improving research processes and create new service delivery methods.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; JD degree preferred.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in privacy, information governance, or within an in-house corporate legal department.

• Proven experience in leading or coordinating privacy risk management initiatives.

• Background in establishing or executing privacy strategies.

• Familiarity with information or data governance involving multiple stakeholder groups.

• Experience in reviewing and synthesizing emerging privacy and related regulations.

• Executive presence with the ability to build credibility with executives and stakeholders.

• Experience in AI governance is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellence in research and writing abilities.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.

• Competence in engaging clients and addressing questions effectively.

• Ability to analyze and synthesize data, recognizing patterns and frameworks, and justifying conclusions.

• Capability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.

• Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at both large and intimate speaking events.

• Strong business acumen and financial understanding.

• Extensive knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the relevant subject area.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multicultural teams.

• Learning agility and skill in navigating complex, matrixed environments.

• Competence in effectively representing Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, as necessary.
