This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate impactful, actionable, timely, objective, and trusted insights for CFOs and senior finance leaders regarding enterprise value, growth, cost, margins, capital investment, and AI expenditure.
• Transform cutting-edge insights into practical teachings that enhance business performance, financial decision-making, and finance-function transformation.
• Create new insights and ideas through thought leadership and actionable responses to client needs.
• Perform thorough analyses to uncover root causes of client challenges and reframe perspectives to advance strategic initiatives.
• Establish Insight positions within a team of analysts and provide independent insights to Gartner leadership.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasts on market trends and shifts.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable guidance through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Develop and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Assist BTI and Sales by acting as the market voice and fostering client engagement.
• Deliver prompt, high-quality peer reviews of content.
• Represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies as a Finance expert.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating with the Insights community.
• Identify enhancements in research processes and create new service-delivery methods.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant Finance experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise financial strategy, including cost optimization, organizational structure, and M&A.
• Subject matter expertise in enterprise growth, cost, margins, and investments.
• Experience in utilizing and implementing AI within financial strategy workflows.
• Ideally, familiarity with FP&A systems and/or Treasury Management Software.
• Strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to analyze and synthesize data, identifying patterns and frameworks.
• Proficient in explaining complex concepts in a concise and straightforward manner.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the relevant field.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility and capacity to navigate highly matrixed settings.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when necessary.
