Director, Alliances Deal Maker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Elevate your career as a Deal Maker/Engagement Partner.

• Utilize your expertise in Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, which includes Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics.

• Support and influence intricate, multi-tower managed services engagements.

• Participate in negotiations with high-level executives, including CxOs, and drive deals to completion.

• Develop Kyndryl’s distinctive and appealing propositions tailored to align with market needs and customer expectations.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to collect essential documents and technical solutions for bid submissions.

• Assemble, refine, and take ownership of the final proposal documents, demonstrating the ability to present technical content and designs succinctly.

• Establish an effective reporting and governance process to track the success of our deals.

• Engage in demand generation initiatives to address pipeline gaps by collaborating with Customer Partners, Consult Partners, and Executive Business Developers to create focused campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, and managing the Alliance aspect of complex, multi-tower customer negotiations.

• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft alliance, including practical experience working for Microsoft or previously selling Microsoft-based solutions (Azure, M365, Dynamics) in the market, encompassing the technical elements of cloud and digital workplace services.

• Proven experience selling in a matrix environment and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with various stakeholders (Kyndryl, Alliance, and Customer) to achieve optimal results.

• Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of establishing a network of industry contacts, engaging in multi-alliance collaboration, and influencing senior stakeholders.
