Director, Accounting – Global Intercompany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage reconciliations, settlements, eliminations, and dispute resolution across all global legal entities.

• Accountable for general ledger accounting, including the monthly close process and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to SOX requirements.

• Direct the comprehensive global intercompany accounting function.

• Ensure robust financial internal controls and compliance with SOX for all intercompany operations.

• Guide and mentor a global team of accounting professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA/BS).

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or controllership roles.

• 3-5 years in a leadership position within Global Business Services (GBS).

• Experience supporting 10K schedules.

• Oversight experience in Fixed Asset accounting.

• Proficiency in Intercompany accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency translations.

• Experience in a large, multinational corporation.

• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

• CPA certification is a plus.
