This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The incumbent is responsible for strategic planning and the execution of activities related to the wealth management of Caisse populaire Alliance.
• They mobilize a team of professionals and contribute to its development.
• This team is distinguished by its expertise in private management, financial planning, portfolio approach, securities products, financing, and investment strategies.
• They also serve as a resource person for business development concerning all matters related to savings and investments.
• Under the direction of the Vice-Presidency of Member Experience, the Wealth Management Department oversees and directs the asset management team of the Caisse.
• They provide consistent support to all service centers in this area.
• Lead all activities related to the development, deployment, and supervision of asset management, which may have significant implications for the profitability of operations;
• Support the Vice-Presidency of Member Experience in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic plan and the annual business plan of the Caisse;
• Prepare and plan the distribution of tasks in collaboration with the human resources sector;
• Establish performance objectives and conduct appropriate follow-ups to ensure their achievement according to the annual strategic priorities of the Caisse;
• Recruit and mentor the staff under their direction;
• Implement the action plans arising from the annual business plan;
• Direct, supervise, mobilize, and develop a team generally composed of advisors specializing in GDA products, GDA compliance advisors, asset management directors, financial planners, asset management advisors, and financial service agents assigned to selling a range of specialized wealth management products and services;
• Develop business development strategies (sales and solicitation techniques) to ensure growth and profitability in the Caisse's asset sector while achieving established objectives;
• Analyze offered products (profitability and relevance) to develop a sales plan and member approach;
• Ensure a comprehensive and integrated service offering for members served by their teams, leveraging the services provided by the Caisse and its service centers;
• Ensure compliance with securities regulations and engage the compliance officer in the sale of these products;
• Guarantee the quality of services and the proactivity of personnel in responding to members' needs while following up on their satisfaction;
• Ensure the efficiency and continuous improvement of all processes within the sector;
• Maintain business partnerships (internal and external) based on the needs of the Caisse, balancing member satisfaction, profitability, and risk level;
• Liaise with external partners;
• Stay informed about the competitive environment and the practices of top-performing companies;
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective and original promotional campaigns;
• Be responsible for the continuous development of their own skills and knowledge in their field of activity;
• Establish practices that promote talent and performance management;
• Foster a good team spirit, authorize leave, and address and resolve conflicts.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Five (5) years of experience in financial consulting and wealth management, including two (2) years in management or supporting sales activities for financial products and services.
• Travel: Given the nature of the position and the extent of the Caisse, the incumbent will need to travel as required by the service centers.
