This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and foster a positive HSER culture across various sites in the UK and Ireland.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate safety, risk, and environmental excellence into everyday operations.
• Mentor and challenge leaders and managers to take responsibility for HSER performance.
• Promote consistency and best practices among site-based HSER teams.
• Evaluate and enhance performance through audits, analysis, and data-driven insights.
• Oversee incident investigations and ensure thorough follow-up and learning opportunities.
• Develop and execute effective policies, systems, and training programs.
• Engage externally with regulators, industry bodies, and partners.
• Support key initiatives related to sustainability, compliance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in driving HSER performance across multiple site operations.
• Extensive knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, as well as risk and environmental compliance.
• The ability to engage, coach, and challenge senior stakeholders confidently.
• A proven history of delivering continuous improvement, conducting audits, and managing investigations.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the capability to simplify complex subjects.
• A proactive, commercially aware attitude with a strong passion for safety and operational excellence.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6) is essential.
• Preferred membership in a professional body.
• Qualifications in environmental/sustainability are highly advantageous.
