Direct Support Professional, DSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, organization)

• Support community engagement (shopping, errands, outings)

• Offer emotional regulation assistance through calm and structured methods

• Establish clear boundaries and maintain consistent expectations

• Aid in household maintenance and organization

• Foster independence and encourage personal accountability

• Relay updates to care teams and ensure required documentation is completed

• Contribute to a safe, predictable, and respectful atmosphere

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

• Current auto insurance compliant with state regulations

• Ability to successfully pass a background check (not all records will disqualify)

• Comfortable with providing personal care support

• Preferred: Experience in caregiving, Direct Support Professional (DSP), behavioral support, or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) roles

• Experience assisting individuals with I/DD

• Strong skills in communication and boundary-setting

• Certification in CPR/First Aid
