Diligence Quality Control II – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Quality Control assessment of loan reviews conducted by Loan Review Analysts.

• Provide immediate feedback on loan rejections to Loan Review Analysts regarding mistakes and determining corrective measures.

• Ensure compliance with regulations for the loans being reviewed.

• Report error patterns to management.

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of particular client guidelines.

• Manage escalated and disputed client conditions with minimal supervision.

• Assist in testing and enhancing the loan review system.

• Continuously develop subject matter expertise.

• Support problem-solving, issue resolution, and guidance in loan reviews.

• Aid in offering advice on daily matters related to Underwriting Guidelines or Compliance inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting and mortgage quality control within the origination or due diligence sectors.

• Keeps up-to-date with underwriting standards, investor guidelines, regulatory compliance, and TRID practices.

• Strong comprehension of condition clearing processes and their influence on loan ratings.

• Basic knowledge of credit rating agency requirements.

• Familiarity with USPAP standards, supplemental valuation products, and reconciliation processes.

• Capable of producing underwriting reports, analyzing outcomes, identifying problems, and implementing corrective actions.

• Experienced in reading, analyzing, and comprehending various loan servicer payment histories and servicing documentation.

• Developing leadership abilities with the experience to manage personnel.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on the company's needs.
