This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Developing and sustaining intricate Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) models for diverse products and materials utilizing industry-standard tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, or openLCA.

• Ensuring that all assessments comply with international standards, particularly ISO 14040/14044, and facilitating the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

• Converting LCA insights into actionable business recommendations that align with the company's objectives and sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Engaging in cross-functional LCA project implementation from inception to completion, interpreting business requirements into technical specifications for developers and engineers.

• Designing and executing an integrated, automated LCA system that provides scalable, actionable insights through the use of a cloud software platform and API integrations.

• Connecting stakeholder visions and requirements with technical execution across Cloud, CRM, and Data Analytics environments.

• Creating AI-powered solutions to expedite LCA and EPD production.

• Leading innovative technical LCA initiatives and objectives, including conducting research projects.

• Involved in pre-sales efforts, generating a Proof of Concept (PoC), creating a solution presentation deck, and contributing to the overall LCA offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Science, or a related field, preferably in Environmental Science/Technology.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in performing LCAs.

• Familiarity with relevant standards in sustainability management and carbon accounting, including ISO 14040 series, PEF, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol, PAS 2050, etc.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), APIs, and data analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, Power BI).

• A solid quantitative or technical background with a strong aptitude for analytical thinking. An innate curiosity to explore issues, perform research, develop solutions, and translate findings into business practices.

• Basic programming skills would be advantageous.

• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities in English.

• Excellent presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-expert audiences.
