Digital Project Manager – Aerospace and Defense Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Digital projects for the Aerospace & Defense Solutions division.

• Align ServiceNow reporting standards and essential data elements with the ADS Digital Portfolio Manager.

• Ensure that project and program deliveries meet established objectives.

• Establish project governance and control mechanisms throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate project planning, milestones, deadlines, responsibilities, progress tracking, and stakeholder reporting.

• Manage project engagement, external vendors, internal business stakeholders, communications, resources, budget, changes, risks, and issues.

• Own the complete project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

• Monitor and control outcomes; proactively address or escalate issues, risks, dependencies, and critical-path deliverables.

• Create progress reports and presentations for project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.

• Manage external vendor and professional services engagements, including both onshore and offshore providers.

• Oversee project scope and any changes.

• Ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle and align delivery with success criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.

• Experience with application deployment or ERP implementation is advantageous.

• Background in financial projects and system carve-outs or cloning is preferred.

• Ability to lead teams and influence others without direct authority.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios.

• Commitment to teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

• Experience working with external vendors and professional services engagements, including onshore and offshore providers.
