This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in maintaining database integrity by auditing CRM records, merging duplicate contacts/accounts, and standardizing incorrectly formatted fields (such as phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs).
• Conduct routine data-cleansing activities to eliminate invalid email bounces, standardize naming conventions, and highlight incomplete records for further refinement by senior team members.
• Oversee inbound lead queues, manually directing unassigned or misrouted leads to the appropriate regional or enterprise sales representatives in accordance with established territory guidelines.
• Ensure lead lifecycle accuracy by updating contact statuses, lead scores, and stage progressions as records move through the pipeline, guaranteeing that reporting dashboards display real-time activity.
• Assist in building and segmenting lists for email campaigns by exporting targeted contact lists from the CRM and confirming that all included leads fulfill necessary demographic criteria.
• Aid in the preparation of weekly engagement reports and dashboards by extracting standard CRM reports, consolidating data into reporting platforms, and identifying outliers (such as unusual web traffic patterns, discrepancies in UTM-tagged campaign performance, or fluctuations in conversion rates) for marketing leadership's review.
• Contribute to process documentation by updating quick-reference guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common CRM tasks as workflows develop.
• Create, modify, and launch email campaigns and automated nurture workflows in HubSpot, assisting with audience segmentation, A/B testing, and basic performance reporting to enhance subscriber engagement and conversion rates.
• Publish and organize website content (pages, blogs, resources) in IFSA’s WordPress CMS, ensuring accurate tagging, SEO metadata, and timely updates.
• Manage and audit IFSA’s external presence by updating program and service listings across third-party review platforms and directories to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate across departments within IFSA to gather content requirements, align messaging, and support integrated marketing initiatives.
• Assist in day-to-day marketing operations with additional ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the marketing team.
• Current undergraduate or graduate student; or recent college graduate seeking part-time work experience while actively looking for full-time employment.
• Familiarity with basic spreadsheet functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data tasks is also advantageous.
• Previous experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus, although training will be provided.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics is beneficial but not essential.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint—is the primary technical requirement for this position.
• Familiarity with web content management systems is valuable, and experience with WordPress is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and located in the USA for the duration of the internship.
