This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all event-related activities for the Company, including industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and intimate luncheons as well as thought leadership discussions.

• Manage all digital event initiatives, such as webinars and podcasts, serving as the primary representative for the company during these engagements.

• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to convert booth space and badge scans into meetings, opportunities, and revenue.

• Personally attend every event, overseeing booth setup and teardown, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and ensuring a polished company presence from beginning to end.

• Prepare attending team members by outlining objectives, key talking points, target accounts, and logistics to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.

• Partner with sales to arrange pre-show meetings, coordinate dinners, and host customer events on-site, while ensuring all leads are captured, qualified, and promptly followed up on.

• Collaborate with marketing on email outreach, landing pages, paid promotions, and social media to drive booth traffic and secure meeting bookings prior to the event.

• Oversee event budgets throughout the year, tracking expenses, forecasting accurately, identifying risks early, and making informed trade-offs when priorities change.

• Establish clear KPIs for each event (leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI) and develop comprehensive post-event reports to analyze successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or tech industries.

• Proven experience in organizing events from start to finish, even on a smaller scale, with the ability to reference specific shows you managed and their outcomes.

• Experience in managing event budgets, including forecasting, monitoring expenditures, and making trade-offs to optimize ROI.

• Proficient in defining KPIs and generating reports that link event activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

• A genuine interest in AI and utilizing it to enhance efficiency. You should be able to provide examples of specific projects, tools, or workflows where you've leveraged AI to streamline or improve your work as an events marketer (research, vendor outreach, post-event reporting, content drafting, lead enrichment, etc.). This is essential.

• Familiarity with HubSpot at the CRM level is adequate; we will handle the rest.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and numerous moving parts without oversight.

• Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers to secure optimal terms.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You can motivate a team, inform executives, and engage prospects on the show floor with equal effectiveness.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure. You can think on your feet and resolve issues as they arise during events.

• Open to traveling 30 to 50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential travel to Europe as we expand.
