Digital Control Systems Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Oversee the engineering team, establishing team strategy, setup, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Maintain high standards in project engineering, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery in accordance with EMH regulations.

• Monitor and manage resource utilization in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) to guarantee efficiency and meet demand.

• Develop offerings for Substation Automation Services to enhance GA service and solutions growth.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a diverse team across System Design, Integration, and Testing.

• Define and implement a clear vision and operational model for the Digital Control System Engineering organization in alignment with the GA Engineering strategy.

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Assist in bid and project execution phases by establishing system-level concepts and integration strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.

• 8 years of experience in electricity and automation engineering, encompassing distribution automation, substation digitization, diagnostics, APM, device management, and cybersecurity.

• 3 years of experience in designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, IEC 61850, firewalls, cybersecurity, and networking.

• 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams.

• Proficient in English.

• Willingness to travel 30% within the US and Canada.
