Digital Content Specialist

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation of content for major business campaigns and convert intricate technical subjects into messaging that centers on the customer.

• Leverage AI technology to enhance content production efficiency and consistency while ensuring high quality.

• Uphold editorial standards, content governance principles, and established templates.

• Expand content across various platforms including blogs, social media, infographics, video scripts, and digital experiences.

• Establish, monitor, and refine content performance metrics.

• Oversee SOW-based writing contractors, managing work assignments, reviewing deliverables, providing editorial feedback, and ensuring quality, brand voice, and consistency.

• Monitor contractor capacity and budget utilization.

• Handle contractor onboarding, performance assessments, and scope management.

• Direct enterprise SEO and GEO strategies across the GE Vernova business unit websites.

• Execute SEO audits utilizing AI tools to identify technical issues, content deficiencies, and optimization prospects.

• Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators like organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI answer-engine visibility, and conversion metrics.

• Convert business objectives into actionable SEO/GEO roadmaps.

• Implement best practices for structured data, metadata, and entity optimization.

• Perform hands-on SEO audits and develop prioritized action plans.

• Manage the relationship with GE Vernova’s external SEO agency.

• Set the direction for the agency, assess recommendations, oversee KPI accountability, and manage meetings, reporting, SOW, and budget.

• Transform agency recommendations into actionable tasks for web, content, and development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or SEO.

• Demonstrated success in managing external agencies or vendors.

• An MBA or equivalent experience.

• Experience in managing freelance or contract writers, or a content production team.

• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for SEO auditing, content optimization, or workflow automation.

• Practical proficiency with SEMrush.

• Working understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.

• Knowledge of or strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, where applicable.
