Digital Content Creator II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop reliable and easy-to-understand health information content for the Cleveland Clinic’s website.

• Produce precise, high-quality medical content that aligns with the Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice.

• Conduct research on health topics and/or interview clinical professionals.

• Simplify intricate medical and scientific concepts into clear language for patients and the general public.

• Generate a variety of weekly assignments that support the editorial team.

• Collaborate with SEO, operations, graphics, Marketing & Communications, and various teams across Cleveland Clinic.

• Integrate feedback from SEO specialists and medical reviewers into the final copy.

• Create diverse content including email newsletters, podcast scripts, video scripts, and special projects.

• Engage in editorial reviews, paid content campaigns, internal communications, interactions with physician reviewers, and email campaigns.

• Adhere to writing deadlines while managing competing priorities.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share successes and challenges to foster collective learning.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in writing, editing, researching, and preparing materials for publication, OR a High School/GED with seven years of experience, OR an Associate’s degree with five years of experience.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Familiarity with style guides and SEO keyword best practices.

• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and set expectations.

• Ability to perform computer work for extended periods.

• Effective communication skills for exchanging accurate information.

• Must adhere to Cleveland Clinic’s influenza prevention program, which includes annual vaccination or an approved exemption.

• Employment offers are contingent upon testing for controlled substances.
