Digital Content Creator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Generate daily written content by crafting weekly assignments that concentrate on health-related topics for a specific Cleveland Clinic website section.

• Develop reliable, easily comprehensible health information that adheres to Cleveland Clinic’s standards for precision and clarity.

• Work in collaboration with SEO, operations, and graphics teams, as well as Marketing & Communications partners and various departments throughout Cleveland Clinic.

• Produce accurate, high-quality medical content that reflects Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice.

• Conduct research on health topics and/or interview clinical professionals.

• Convert complex medical and scientific data into language that is accessible for patients and the general public.

• Adhere to writing deadlines.

• Integrate feedback from subject matter experts, including medical reviewers, into final drafts.

• Regularly engage with colleagues and contribute to shared learning.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience in writing, editing, researching, and preparing materials for publication.

• OR a High School diploma/GED combined with five years of relevant experience.

• OR an Associate’s degree along with three years of experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Familiarity with style guides and best practices for SEO keywords.

• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and set expectations effectively.

• Ability to perform computer work for extended periods.

• Proficient in communicating and accurately exchanging information.

• Must adhere to the annual influenza prevention program or secure an approved exemption.

• Must undergo post-offer controlled-substance testing.
