This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in the execution of consultancy and systems engineering initiatives centered on Digital Building technologies, applications, processes, and standards.
• Serve as a representative of FPC Global in all interactions with clients and partners, upholding high standards of technical and professional excellence.
• Aid in the creation of technical reports, documentation, and project deliverables.
• Consistently support project teams across various concurrent assignments.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Compile data and perform analyses to bolster business development efforts.
• Contribute to the enhancement of project delivery processes, tools, and frameworks.
• A Bachelor's degree (or in the process of obtaining one) in Engineering, Computer Science, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), smart buildings, or IoT technologies.
• Familiarity with open communication protocols utilized in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, MQTT, or similar.
• Knowledge of HVAC, lighting controls, energy management systems, metering, and building control systems.
• Experience in supporting or contributing to projects that involve IoT sensors, smart lighting, energy management systems, or digital building technologies.
• Acquaintance with engineering design documentation, technical submittals, system architecture diagrams, points schedules, and network topology drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design/documentation software.
• Competence in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of producing precise, well-organized reports and technical documentation.
• Experience in a consulting, engineering, technology, smart buildings, controls, or systems integration setting, including internships, placements, or graduate programs.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, wireless communications) is a plus.
