This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Accountable for the management, coordination, and execution of various sales strategies targeted at specific accounts.
• Implement and enhance all initiatives at the account level, applying pull-through strategies when relevant.
• Oversee all facets of total account management, including the development and maintenance of strategic business relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate and senior management personnel in key accounts.
• Design, implement, and communicate both strategic and tactical plans for the targeted accounts.
• Track progress and deliver written and verbal updates to all stakeholders.
• Create, implement, and sustain innovative account strategies to achieve comprehensive penetration of accounts.
• Establish and exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business negotiations, managed care implications, and other factors influencing the customer landscape.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing Pharmaceutical Products (e.g., CFR 210/211, cGMP).
• Proven experience in sales (minimum of 5 years required), including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including current trends and issues; experience in gastrointestinal (GI) preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of account management and the responsibilities of an account executive, along with strong sales and customer partnership abilities.
• A high level of strategic, analytical, and technical expertise is also essential.
• Capability to function within a matrix organization and to communicate and coordinate effectively with all members of the AbbVie sales team.
• Demonstrated ability to network and collaborate effectively across various functional areas while building and motivating teams without direct authority.
• Must be able to drive a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
