This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
β’ Oversee the management, coordination, and execution of various account-based sales strategies targeting Group Practices, IDNs, Hospitals, and Specialty Pharmacies.
β’ Implement and enhance all initiatives at the account level and execute pull-through strategies as necessary.
β’ Manage all facets of total account oversight, including establishing and nurturing strategic business relationships with key decision-makers.
β’ Develop, implement, and communicate both strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
β’ Drive account pull-through and resolve issues across individual and shared key targeted accounts.
β’ Track progress and deliver written and verbal feedback to all stakeholders.
β’ Formulate, implement, and sustain innovative account strategies to penetrate identified accounts.
β’ Understanding of relevant regulations and standards impacting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g., CFR 210/211, cGMP).
β’ Proven sales experience (minimum of 5 years) is required, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
β’ Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, including trends and challenges; GI experience is preferred.
β’ Comprehensive insight into account management and the role of an account executive, along with strong sales and customer partnership skills/success.
β’ High level of strategic, analytical, and technical expertise is essential.
β’ Capability to function within a matrix organization and closely communicate/coordinate with all members of the AbbVie sales team.
β’ Proven ability to network and collaborate effectively across functional areas while motivating and inspiring teams without direct authority.
β’ Must possess the ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle or operate a powered piece of material handling equipment.
β’ Valid driverβs license is required along with the capacity to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
β’ Must fulfill all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
