This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Manage all facets of account oversight, including the establishment and maintenance of strategic business relationships with corporate and senior management personnel in key accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to oversee and pinpoint significant target account opportunities.
• Formulate product strategies to effectively and consistently engage these accounts.
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance concerning target accounts to regional and district teams.
• Counsel sales and marketing management with suitable direction on challenges and opportunities presented by key target accounts.
• Analyze and address channel-specific training requirements within the Region.
• Create an annual business plan with defined goals and objectives aimed at boosting sales volume and market share in target accounts across all FDA-approved indications.
• Consistently identify local opportunities and threats and adjust business plans as necessary.
• Anticipate changes and implement proactive measures to address them.
• Comprehend and efficiently utilize a wide array of financial and quantitative data and analyses.
• Evaluate the business impact of target account opportunities, including overall profitability and sales impact.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Managers to assess and penetrate non-retail account drivers within MSAs.
• Propel target account volume and share growth through thorough analysis, offering recommendations and ensuring execution and follow-through from District Managers and representatives.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, including a minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales may substitute for a degree.
• Proven ability to network and partner effectively across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• A proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel sufficiently to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
