DevSecOps Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure as code, and security scanning across all DDPS/PRS environments.

• Sustain and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing CMS enterprise tools.

• Manage infrastructure as code with AWS CloudFormation across multi-AZ production and non-production VPCs.

• Automate integration, testing, deployments, and post-implementation validation testing.

• Promote BDD and TDD methodologies.

• Monitor operational metrics such as PDE volumes, error rates, reconciliation accuracy, and uptime.

• Organize security scanning and ensure ATO compliance.

• Assist with CMS ATO compliance, SSP maintenance, and vulnerability remediation.

• Mentor development teams on DevSecOps practices.

• Comply with project timelines and submit release deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 8 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps.

• Minimum of 4 years managing CI/CD for a production federal system.

• Proficient with Jenkins/CloudBees, JFrog Artifactory/XRay, SonarQube, Snyk, and GitHub.

• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation in multi-AZ production settings.

• Familiarity with EC2, Lambda, Systems Manager, VPC, IAM, and Secrets Manager.

• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, Splunk On-Call/VictorOps, New Relic, and DataDog.

• Understanding of federal ATO, FISMA, and CMS ARS compliance processes.

• Proficient in Bash, Groovy, and YAML scripting.

• Experience with Linux environments including RHEL, CentOS, and Amazon Linux 2.

• Familiarity with a SAFe environment, including PI Planning and Agile Release Train delivery.

• Capability to pass CMS and internal required background checks for public trust.

• Preferred certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.

• Position is contingent upon contract award.
