This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and refresh the development pipeline that generates video encoding technology.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline tasks related to comprehensive system performance validation.
• Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and end users.
• Recognize, suggest, and resolve system-related issues.
• Ensure that systems, software, and applications are appropriately configured to fulfill customer requirements.
• Engage in technical activities impacting the design, testing, and deployment of systems, software, and applications, including FMV exploitation capabilities.
• Maintain secure DevSecOps environments and address vulnerabilities.
• Establish development and build environments along with necessary dependencies.
• Create Helm charts for deploying Kubernetes applications within Rancher-managed clusters.
• Construct and sustain CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated security scanning.
• Manage GitLab runners to ensure a balanced pipeline availability.
• Administer Linux/Unix systems while automating operational tasks.
• Support multiple operational systems concurrently based on existing operational requirements.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience as detailed in job qualifications.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of pertinent technical experience is mandatory.
• No security clearance is necessary; however, the ability to obtain TS/SCI is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps monitoring applications and frameworks.
• Proficient in integrating test results and build status with GitLab/Jira.
• Experience in maintaining secure DevSecOps environments and addressing vulnerabilities with an ISSO.
• Familiarity with setting up Windows and Linux operating system environments.
• Proficient in Helm charts, Kubernetes, and Rancher-managed clusters.
• Experience in establishing build environments and dependencies.
• Skilled in constructing CI/CD pipelines and incorporating automated security scanning.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, and Linux/Unix system administration.
• Familiarity with RHEL, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux.
• Experience managing GitLab runners.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and ECR.
• Extensive hands-on experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Adaptability to work across diverse tasks and technologies.
• Self-motivated with a foundation in software engineering/computer science principles.
• Strong knowledge and application of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Capacity to multitask and manage multiple operational systems concurrently.
• U.S. citizenship is not a prerequisite.
