This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Assist in the automation of provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Integrate security controls and best practices into the integration and deployment processes.

• Manage access, roles, permissions, and service accounts in GCP.

• Apply best practices for handling secrets, credentials, and configurations.

• Work with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.

• Monitor infrastructure and services to identify availability, performance, or security issues.

• Participate in the resolution of incidents and issues related to cloud infrastructure.

• Automate operational tasks through scripting.

• Identify configurations or practices that may pose a security risk and assist in their correction.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams.

• Document configurations, processes, and technical procedures.

• Propose improvements focused on automation, security, stability, and efficiency of environments.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to pipelines and deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar roles.

• Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience administering or supporting production environments.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems.

• Experience with scripting using Bash, Python, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of IAM, permissions, service accounts, and access security.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Git and version control.

• Practical experience with Compute, IAM, roles, service accounts, Networking/VPC, Storage, Logging, Monitoring, and secret management in GCP.

• Practical knowledge of least privilege principles, secure handling of secrets and credentials, security controls in CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure security.

• Experience creating or maintaining pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or equivalent tools.

• Experience automating tasks through scripting.

• Ability to work independently, resolve problems, document processes, and communicate with technical teams.

• Location: Mexico.

• Work modality: 100% remote.

• English: Nice to have.

• Experience working with production environments.

• Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or industries with critical platforms will be valued, but is not mandatory.
