DevOps Tech Lead, Infra Architect, DevOps Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Create infrastructure for high-load distributed systems, ranging from bare-metal setups to cloud-based Kubernetes.

• Take charge of the platform, ensuring its reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.

• Lead the DevOps team by mentoring, supporting, developing, and involving engineers in architectural and product decisions.

• Develop and implement infrastructure roadmaps that include migrations, high availability, observability, and security.

• Work closely with development teams and product managers to plan and implement changes effectively.

• Engage in incident management, addressing both technical issues (infrastructure failures) and process-related concerns.

• Oversee project management tasks, including planning, task breakdown, progress tracking, and removing obstacles.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead within a product-oriented organization.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, including driving projects, managing teams, and participating in the hiring and development of engineers.

• Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to design architecture, anticipate the impact of decisions, and simplify complexity.

• An ownership mindset, focusing on problem-solving rather than assigning blame.

• Proactive attitude: you don't wait for tasks to be assigned — you shape the vision and lead the team towards it.
