DevOps Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components in accordance with approved architectural patterns.

• Automate consistent provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Establish security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability protocols.

• Analyze incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Keep runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change logs updated.

• Work collaboratively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the creation of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of experience in a related professional capacity.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, scripting, build/release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the role.

• Practical knowledge of specific cloud, operating system, container, or automation technologies.

• Familiarity with networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability essentials.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code practices.

• Ability to systematically troubleshoot infrastructure and production-related issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.

• U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Must not require new H-1B visa petition sponsorship.

• Direct W2 employment; not available for C2C or 1099 arrangements.

• Preferred: experience in mentoring colleagues, reviewing technical work, and guiding delivery decisions.
