DevOps Engineer – Systems Operations, IT Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will create and manage our CI/CD pipelines while automating deployments and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform and Ansible).

• You will operate and monitor our production systems, ensuring observability — proactively identifying issues before they escalate.

• You will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance the speed and reliability of release processes.

• You will participate in incident response and ensure that our security and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, BSI C5, GDPR) are integrated into daily operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation of systems and processes (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, as well as monitoring and observability practices.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or TypeScript.

• Background in dynamic work environments, ideally within a startup or scale-up.

• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level).
