DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes, GitOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve backlog tickets associated with Kubernetes updates, configurations, and operational tasks.

• Maintain, configure, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters effectively.

• Deploy open-source components within various Kubernetes environments.

• Support GitOps-based Kubernetes deployment workflows utilizing GitLab and ArgoCD.

• Enhance processes for identifying, communicating, and implementing changes in Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with other teams to facilitate integrations and Kubernetes upgrades.

• Assist in the ongoing improvement of Kubernetes operational procedures.

• Automate operational workflows using Bash or other scripting languages.

• Draft and update internal documentation that covers technical tasks and operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or a combination of these roles.

• Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration.

• Proficient in Git and GitOps methodologies.

• Practical experience with ArgoCD.

• Familiarity with open-source technologies within the Kubernetes ecosystem.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism and minimal supervision.

• Experience with Bash scripting is a plus.

• Certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus.

• Experience in creating and maintaining internal technical or operational documentation is a plus.

• Candidates must reside in LATAM within approved sourcing locations; please note that Mexico is excluded.

• Overlap with U.S. time zones is required.

• Commitment to 40 hours per week.
