DevOps Engineer, IRS MBI Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute DevOps engineering tasks centered on system integration and deployment automation.

• Collaborate with IRS systems, adhering to protocols and security standards.

• Create scripting and automation solutions utilizing Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.

• Implement and oversee containerization and orchestration technologies.

• Engage with cloud platforms and utilize infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Apply DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management practices.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues autonomously.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Proven experience in system integration and deployment automation.

• Comprehensive understanding of IRS systems, protocols, and security requirements.

• Current Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance or higher.

• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, orchestration tools, and Docker Swarm.

• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Puppet.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
